Taking a Dive

            Falling -

                        Leaving -

                                    Falling -

                                                Not breathing.

Breathe not ... Breathe do not!

What was last, nothing surpassed

Born believing, all concealing

Conceived at birth, fully immersed

Immersed in the love, from the hands above

And raised to rise, of the seas comprised.

And now I’m -

                        falling -

                                    leaving -

                                                falling -

                                                            not breathing.

From the heavens I descend, awakening again.

Listening to a call I wilded to a fall,

Cared not to care and dive today’s dare.

Dare I cast my sight to the past

For the past, now the lair, from which I swear ...

And now I’m -

                        falling -

                                    leaving -

                                                falling -

                                                            not breathing.

Can I last as the waters go past?

Inhaling the taste I act with haste

Sally the edge and jump life’s ledge,

For I to quench this wondrous drench,

With a splash, no normal crash.

And now I’m -

                        falling -

                                    leaving -

                                                falling -

                                                            breathing!

To secede from my earthly deed.

Beautifully falling, some thought appalling

Received the chance and committed the dance

Blessed by ocean breeze, I soared with ease

And threw to the wind, all worries and sin.

And now I’m -

                        falling -

                                    leaving -

                                                falling -

                                                            not breathing.

So not to expel the breath that compelled.
